Job Summary
VeoRide is at the forefront of transforming urban mobility through innovative solutions. Our mission is to make transportation smarter, safer, and more accessible to everyone. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and harness the power of data to propel us into the future of urban mobility. As a Data Analyst, you will help us create an outstanding experience for our riders in markets all over the U.S. You will apply your passion for problem solving, planning and execution through data-based decision making by driving day-to-day execution of new initiatives and providing critical insights that will guide decisions on future enhancements and net new functionality to accelerate growth. This role is a hybrid role and you will be required to go into the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced analytics to unlock actionable insights and solve specific problems
- Design analytics tools/visualizations used in real time for Customers and Operations teams
- Provide actionable insights and reports to support decision-making processes
- Use SQL to aggregate disparate data sources to help decision makers understand the core story
- Maintain DBT Pipelines
- Interact with key APIs to pipe data into our data warehouse
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand all aspects of Veo's business and support their respective goals and initiatives
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all retail properties and internal systems
Competencies
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in an analytical subject (physics, economics, engineering, social sciences, computer science, business analytics, etc.)
- Self-motivated with very close attention to detail
- 2+ years performing quantitative analysis and building analytics products with an ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience in SQL
- Experience with Python/R (Python preferred)
- Experience with Looker/Tableau/Power BI
- Familiarity with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, etc,
- Obsesses over data quality, analysis accuracy, and clean code
- Able to formulate tractable problems for solution development as well as able to effectively communicate key findings through written and verbal mediums
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution
- Able to quickly learn new coding and analysis skills that are needed to effectively complete aspects of insight development

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000 - $94,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Equity (Stock Options) + Full Range of Benefits. Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $87,000 to $100,000 per year.
Note: Veo benefit, bonus and stock programs may be subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and performance.
