We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Tool Operations Project Manager to join the Global superstar team at Too Good To Go in Copenhagen 🚀.


Your mission

As a Senior Project Manager within our Commercial Tool Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of our commercial tools portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Tool Operations, you will be entrusted with managing a diverse range of projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and performance of our internal commercial tools. In addition to your existing responsibilities, you will take on added duties to ensure comprehensive project management, strategic oversight, and leadership in driving organisational growth ✨

You role:

  • Lead the operational aspects of commercial tool deployment, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enhance operational workflows for commercial tools, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining scope, workstreams, tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Stay on top of day-to-day sales operations, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing improvements to enhance work process and tool performance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align on technical solutions, priorities, and to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in managing relationships with third-party vendors or partners involved in commercial tool operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations governing commercial tool operations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on operational performance and any potential challenges, maintaining transparency throughout. Includes necessary stakeholders to solve problems (e.g., legal).
  • Documentation of processes & outcomes should always be prepared and in high quality.
  • Prepare presentations for senior leadership with clear storytelling and anticipation of needs (informing, approving, feedback needed).
  • Expected to have strong relationships with project-relevant contributors and have an awareness of larger business priorities.
  • Ensure that steps needed to reach project closure are accessible, documented, and realistic. All project contributors are aware of their role and energised to deliver.

Additional Senior Responsibilities:

  • Self led: Showcases a high degree of self-leadership, autonomy, and proactively identifies opportunities without significant direction.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
  • Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across various departments and countries, focused primarily on implementing new systems and tools or redesigning and improving existing systems and tools.
  • Coordinating with teams across different regions to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement in commercial tool operations, anticipating future business needs.
  • Deputize for the Director of Commercial Tool Operations when required, assuming leadership responsibilities and representing the department at various forums.
  • Present comfortably at Steering Committees, providing updates on project progress, strategic insights, and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Anticipate future business needs and proactively plan for scalability and adaptability of commercial tool operations.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement: Confidently advises and upwardly manages senior stakeholders such as Directors and VPs

    Requirements:

  • Strong project management knowledge and experience, specifically with experience in managing projects focused on implementing complex commercial and operational systems. (E.g. Salesforce CRM, Aircall VoIP, Inventory Management, Asana, Youtrack, etc.)
  • Experience as a Project Manager in commercial tool operations within scaling companies, demonstrating effective oversight of commercial operational processes, and comfortable in managing projects in an organisation that is constantly changing and evolving at a fast pace.
  • Strong understanding of commercial operational methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with commercial tool deployment, maintenance, and optimization processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Leadership and mentorship skills to guide and inspire team members.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to drive innovation and change within the organisation.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change: Agile and highly adaptable to changes in requirements and situations.
