Thiozen Inc. is a venture-backed spinout from MIT commercializing a novel process to produce low-cost and low-emission hydrogen from hydrogen sulfide and water. By providing non-carbon-based sources of hydrogen, Thiozen’s newly developed process can dramatically reduce emissions in the energy industry.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced candidate to execute commercial projects, serving as Thiozen’s technical liaison to senior technical leaders at customer organizations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and a track record of taking successfully piloted technologies to commercial scale.

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a technical liaison to senior technical leaders at customer organizations, representing Thiozen's technology, understanding customer requirements, and overseeing project execution • Lead the start-up, shake-down and initial operations of new installations, train operators, and troubleshoot issues • Manage the tasks and deliverables resulting from customer meetings, ensuring timely execution and effective communication • Support the technical development of Thiozen’s technology from pilot scale to commercialization • Support the development of intellectual property

Qualifications: • Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry • Proven track record of taking piloted technologies to commercial scale • Strong technical and project management skills • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Process Modeling, Controls Engineering, and/or Process Design experience is a plus
