The Field Reliability Engineering team’s mission is to improve customer experience of Tesla products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with large cross-section of other engineering teams. Engineers and Technicians on the team are responsible for a wide variety of vehicle product systems for existing models. This is a contributor role that includes extensive hands-on work focused on failure analysis and root cause activities.

We are seeking an Engineering technician who will execute a variety of technical tasks to support ongoing failure analysis activities and log review processes. The successful candidate will work directly with Field Reliability Engineers to perform log analysis, review of service records, support with sample preparation, electrical testing, mechanical inspection, and other analytical work.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for reviewing service job logs, categorizing data, and identifying critical issues to ensure that engineers focus on the most impactful concerns. This will directly improve engineering efficiency and enhance product reliability.
