Job Description

Become part of Tanso and help leverage the power of data and AI for climate impact.

Your Role

As Technical Product Management Intern (f/m/x), you will be a fully integrated part of our team to drive sustainable decision-making and reporting in industrial companies.

You will be responsible to advance projects under the strategic umbrella of bringing AI and automation to the center of our sustainability platform.

You will work alongside engineering, design and product and have direct touch points with our rapidly growing user base. Previous interns in product have owned the full process for building an MVP from initial user research over prototyping all the way to delivery with the engineering team.

How you succeed

🏆 Own data-driven features from end-to-end

  • Use tooling such as the Azure AI Platform to prototype and validate data-driven features for our customers to help them manage their sustainability metrics and decarbonize
  • Help us turn various standalone automation projects into production-ready in-app features together with the engineering team
  • You feel comfortable bridging the gap between high level customer pains and tech details and bring understanding of LLMs, RAG and AI tooling

📈 Build your expertise in climate, product and tech

  • Become the expert on your areas of responsibility and the go-to person for Customer Success and the rest of the company
  • Work on defining and enhancing features that reduce the reporting burden for our customers and bring them a step closer to realize their decarbonization potential

🪁 Space to bring in your ideas

  • Gather input from customers and internal stakeholders and identify the biggest levers to make our customers successful in their daily work
  • Pitch and prototype ideas on how to reduce time-to-value for users, educate through suggestions, or how to nudge them to improve their data quality
  • Proactively take responsibility for improving Tanso’s product and how we work as a team

Whom you will be working with

  • Christoph our Product Lead and Julius our Senior Product Manager
  • Gyri, CPO
  • Benji, Noah, Davit, Tomás, Pavel, Fabian and the rest of our kickass engineering team

Why Tanso?

  • Your work helps producing companies integrate sustainability in their decision making. You will directly influence how companies understand, act upon and report on sustainability.
  • You are joining the company in a phase of accelerated growth. We’ve successfully entered the market, closed important reference customers and experience strong market tailwinds.
  • Our team thrives on embracing uncertainty. We work in cross-functional teams to tackle ambitious challenges, actively seek feedback, and are strong believers in interdisciplinary.
  • We’re a diverse group of people, and that diversity is what makes our experience extraordinary. With team members from various backgrounds, disciplines, and cultures, we bring unique perspectives to everything we do and are always eager to learn from each other.
  • We offer an environment that puts your needs first. You’ll get access to sponsored EGYM Wellpass to find inner peace at yoga or kill it at HIIT workouts with the team.
  • Our team is fun - we are convinced that work needs to be fun too. We are proud to have an outstanding team NPS and regularly organize team events to keep up the spirit.

  • You must have a pre-existing working permit for the EU.
  • You must speak English at level C1 or higher.
  • You must speak German at level C2.
