Job Description

Skeleton's Advanced Engineering team is seeking a R&D Mechanical Intern (m/f/x).

The paid internship takes place in our Lappeenranta Office & Test Shop.

Internship period would be full-time workhours from May to August.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

  • General mechanical design: Creating 3D and 2D drawings;
  • Basic mechanical calculations;
  • Participation in prototype building.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field OR completed Bachelor's or Master's program from the same fields;
  • Fluency in English is required (both written and spoken);
  • Good CAD program skills (Solidworks preferred, Inventor, Fusion NX);
  • Understanding of typical prototyping and manufacturing technologies.
  • Desire for continuous learning.
  • Hands-on mentality- not afraid to get "hands dirty".
  • Strong problem- solving skills.
