Job Description

About Samotics

Passionate about solving the problem of unplanned downtime, Samotics uses AI-driven electrical signature analysis to create smart predictive maintenance solutions that increase productivity and reduce energy waste while saving customers’ time and money.

We serve customers such as Total, Schiphol, Nouryon and ArcelorMittal. Our product, SAM4, leverages machine learning algorithms and IoT sensors to detect upcoming failures in critical industrial assets up to months in advance. But SAM4 does more than just prevent unplanned downtime. It also enables the world's largest and most successful industrial companies to significantly reduce energy waste.

**About the team 👋
In this role, you will support the Asset Reliability Specialist (ARS) team, a vital part of the Customer Success Management (CSM) department. The ARS team plays a key role in delivering the value of our Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) condition monitoring service to customers, with a specific focus on the water market.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with the ARS team to enhance the reliability and efficiency of monitored electric centrifugal pumps and related processes. You will analyze alarms triggered by our predictive algorithms, identifying potential issues like blockages and airlocks to prevent equipment failures and minimize unplanned downtime.

Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing customer-provided data, such as flow rates and pump curves, into our system to help identify energy inefficiencies and proactively prevent failures, including those that could lead to events like sewage flooding. A good understanding of process, mechanical and/or electrical engineering are therefore a must.

Your challenge 🎯

  • Analyze Water-Related Indicators: Utilize current, voltage data, and frequency spectra developed by our Data Science team to identify the root cause of any deviations in the data.
  • Implement Pump Curves and Flow Data: Integrate pump curves and flow data into our system to enable the Energy team to identify opportunities for process optimization and maximize customer value.
  • Support Data-Driven Projects: Assist the Asset Reliability Specialists in preparing data-driven projects aimed at enhancing our tools and processes for effective asset monitoring.
  • Update Customer Incident Records: Regularly review and update outstanding customer incidents based on changes in Electrical Signature Analysis data.
  • Ensure Continuous Asset Monitoring: Make sure our assets are being monitored without problems.
