Role Summary The Staff Technical Program Manager is responsible for driving successful project completion by performing the below functions on behalf of Rivian: Responsibilities Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects Use disciplined project management methodology to define scope, develop project plan, and execute projects that adhere to guidelines and deliver within cost and schedule Ensuring business requirements are captured accurately and completely Define the project objectives, roles, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success Develop estimates and plans to manage the end-to end execution Facilitate day-to-day coordination while adhering to standards and sponsor expectations Act as the link between the assigned project resources and key stakeholders providing transparency on progress Communicate to project team members, key stakeholders, sponsors, and executives Identify and communicate risks and work with leadership to mitigate them Serve as primary contact for project reporting Facilitate cross functional sessions for planning, alignment, prioritization, design, etc. Use problem-solving/critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges Monitor projects on an ongoing basis and evaluating progress/quality Ensure timely delivery, testing, and commissioning of all projects with minimal impact to business continuity Facilitate knowledge transfer around processes, technologies, and/or applications Ensure project closure including completion of lessons learned and required documentation Manage multiple project and program level initiatives concurrently Assess and lead organization through appropriate change management practices Provide feedback on better practices, based on experience running project, for continuous improvement Establish project reporting best practices and advise on working model improvements Coach and mention cross-functional team members Qualifications 6+ years of related project management experience is required Strong understanding of Agile/scrum methodologies and related tools Good cross IT and business communication, influence, and negotiation skills Ability to work collaboratively, thrive under pressure, ambiguity, and time constraints Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system Experience in two or more of the following areas: Production Planning/Scheduling, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Sale and Distribution, Vehicle Service, or Warranty Bachelor degree strongly desired Willingness to travel as required based on project needs Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
