The successful candidate will be extremely organized with strong attention to detail and excellent technical writing skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and researching federal, state and local funding sources to benefit Redwood or our partners;
- Drafting proposals and leading submission processes, including tracking deadlines and program requirements, coordination across multiple teams, and managing complex submissions;
- Serving as external lead for various funding projects and collaborating internally to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and projects remain on track;
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance, registrations and reporting requirements for existing grants and other programs, including the creation of new internal processes or reporting mechanisms, as required;
- Creatively seeking ways to enhance Redwood's consumer program, including assistance with proposals, performing outreach, and liaising with government, municipal and private sector partners to grow the program.

- 6+ years in a related field.
- Experience with grant writing, grant management, compliance processes or within government.
- Ability to identify, comprehend and effectively communicate key technical aspects of corporate operations.
- Proven ability to effectively interact at the highest corporate, regulatory agency, and government levels (local, state, and/or federal).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex processes and projects clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently while effectively contributing as part of a team
- Attention to detail and meticulous organization.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Ability to travel domestically occasionally, as required.
- A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
