RABOT Energy is on a mission to make green energy simple, affordable, and accessible for everyone. To help us grow even faster, we’re looking for a motivated Web Engineer (React/PHP) - Working Student to shape the digital face of one of Germany’s fastest-growing energy startups.

You’ll be part of our journey as we transition from a WordPress-based site to a modern, scalable web stack — helping us bring our story, products, and brand to life online. If you’re excited about React, PHP, and state of the art web development (and don’t mind using WordPress as a steppingstone), then this role is for you.

• Take ownership of Rabot's web platform and support its evolution from WordPress to a modern React/PHP stack.
• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly features that showcase our brand and products.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, and Product to translate concepts into clean, functional code.
• Improve site performance, load times, and SEO visibility.
• Implement and maintain integrations with CRM systems, analytics platforms, tracking, and APIs.
• Contribute to engineering best practices — including version control, code reviews, testing, and modern workflows.
• Keep an eye on trends and bring fresh ideas to make our website more engaging, scalable, and future-ready.
• Hands-on development skills: Experience with React and PHP, plus a good grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• WordPress familiarity is a plus: You know your way around WordPress (themes, templates, plugins) — but you’re excited to go beyond it.
• Problem-solver mindset: You can debug, optimize, and refactor code for better performance.
• Builder attitude: Comfortable balancing short-term fixes with long-term improvements.
• Team spirit: You like working cross-functionally and can explain your ideas clearly to non-tech teammates.
• Ownership: You’re proactive, independent, and not afraid to drive initiatives forward.
• Location: Be based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg
