Team: Talent Acquisition

Salary banding: £25,000 - £28,000

Experience: Experienced

Working pattern: Full-Time (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Reporting to: Daniel McCaughan

We’re looking for an amazing new Talent Acquisition Coordinator, supporting hiring within our tech teams across the UK, and driving best practices.

The business is at a phenomenal time of organisational change, and the successful candidate will be at the heart of this. This is an opportunity to play a central and pivotal role in the organisation’s future development - helping us to build the best tech team in the UK - all whilst driving us closer to zero carbon!

This role in a nutshell:

You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers and Candidates to schedule interviews, remove blockers and ensure that the interview process is as efficient as possible.

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Uploading job specifications to our external careers website as well as our internal job board.
  • Coordinating interviews for our tech teams
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies, ensuring they are well informed on our requirements and sourcing the best candidates for OVO
  • Administration, coordination and support of assessment centres
  • Processing offer letters and contracts
  • Helping to build our employer brand as an EnTech employer of choice, utilising social media, meetups, events and more!
  • Maintaining high levels of data integrity in all of our internal systems including our ATS, Greenhouse.
  • Ensuring that every candidate that speaks to OVO, gets a fantastic candidate experience.
  • Constantly iterating - bringing ideas to the wider Talent team to ensure we’re always looking to improve how we do things in the team. It’s a great time to innovate at OVO!

You’ll be a successful Hiring Coordinator at OVO if you have…

  • Proven tech recruitment coordination experience gained in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong personal impact and relationship building skills, with the capability to engage with candidates, managers and external agencies.
  • Successful proven experience of managing and prioritising multiple time sensitive projects effectively
  • A strong administrator with great attention to detail.
  • You will be able to adapt to a fast paced changing environment and know that nothing is impossible!
  • High pace, resilience, gravitas and flexibility

We’ll pay you between £25,000 and £28,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
