Job Description
As the Regional Sales Director for Canada, you will drive the adoption of OroraTech’s satellite-based wildfire detection and monitoring services in commercial and government markets. Your focus will be to prospect, qualify, and close opportunities, delivering impactful solutions to customers and advancing our mission to combat climate change.● Develop and nurture business relationships, close sales, and manage customer expectations as OroraTech expands.
● Full Responsibility for the ARR of the sales region Canada.
● Building up a strong communication and relationship with the Canadian Space Program’s Wildfire project and use this relationship to identify opportunities for B2B and B2G deals with for OroraTech’s Wild Fire Solution (WFS).
● Take ownership of identifying and prospecting leads in assigned territories, with minimal reliance on inbound leads.
● Manage the deal pipeline of potential WFS resellers within the sales region Canada.
● Oversee proposal generation, pricing, and the management and forecasting of sales pipelines.
● Conduct and manage customer trials in your region.
● Report on customer needs, challenges, market trends, and competitive activities, contributing to product and service innovation.● Proven success managing full sales cycles, with strong outbound prospecting skills.
● Experience in B2B and B2G sales, including RFP processes and Reseller onboarding.
● Background in wildfire/emergency management or electric utility industries essential.
● Ability to engage with emergency managers, wildfire response leaders, or utility professionals.
● Experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions preferred.● Competitive compensation
