Lucid Motors is seeking a talented Data Visualization Engineer with expertise in both Ignition and Tableau to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced dashboards and reports, translating complex data into meaningful insights. Your work will directly support business decision-making processes by presenting data in a clear, accessible, and actionable format.

You Will:

• Design, build, and maintain visually compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Ignition platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MES, data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver insightful visualizations.
• Develop real-time data dashboards in Ignition for industrial or operational use cases, integrating with PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Use Tableau to design interactive, dynamic dashboards that communicate key business insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency by building reliable, scalable data visualization solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing dashboards for performance, accuracy, and usability.
• Implement best practices in data visualization design, ensuring a user-friendly experience across all platforms.

You Bring:

• BS/MS in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent work experience and 5-8 years of related experience
• Proficiency in Ignition (Inductive Automation), including designing real-time dashboards and connecting with industrial data sources (PLC, SCADA, etc.).
• Expertise in Tableau, including building advanced dashboards, custom visualizations, and performing data blending and calculations.
• Experience working with SQL databases and writing complex queries to source data for visualizations.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for enhancing Tableau and Ignition visualizations.
• Knowledge of integrating data from various sources, including relational databases, APIs, and real-time data streams.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, UI/UX principles, and dashboard design.
• Ability to analyze large, complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
• Experience working with industrial data (for Ignition) and business intelligence data (for Tableau).
