We are seeking a Development Coordinator to oversee the Chassis and Controls teams’ fleet of prototype vehicles and help coordinate a full calendar of development test trips. This role manages software and hardware updates, coordinates schedules, and tracks vehicle configurations to ensure a fleet of around 30 vehicles is prepared to take on an ambitious development schedule. This role also books time at test sites across the world and plans transport for vehicles and components. Candidates should be motivated to learn, well-organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

1. Manage software configurations on fleet vehicles, including requesting over-the-air updates and supporting them through their installation. There is an opportunity to learn how to manually update software vehicles and perform basic troubleshooting skills.
2. Manage hardware configurations, repairs, and instrumentation for vehicles. Help prototype technicians plan work on vehicles around a busy schedule, then document and track completion.
3. Work with groups around the company to procure replacement parts for vehicles and track the location of special tuning components.
4. Maintain the calendar for all vehicles in the fleet, coordinate test requests on vehicles, and prioritize work.
5. Book and coordinate with test facilities, race tracks, and proving grounds throughout the world.
6. Plan and execute shipments of vehicles, components, EV chargers, tires, etc. to development sites across the world. Including booking transport by air, ground, or sea, raising purchase requests, preparing components and vehicles for shipment, filling out trade compliance documents, and following up throughout the transport.
7. Work with company fleet managers to track/handle vehicle paperwork, including insurance, registration, license plates, etc. for the team fleet.

Skills

Must have:

1. Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and concisely in conversation, meetings, written messages, and presentations.
2. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
3. Experience with global logistics, including shipping, purchasing, trade compliance, etc.
4. Experience coordinating complicated activities, balancing deadlines from multiple stakeholders, and effectively prioritizing resources, especially in the automotive or motorsport industry.
5. A positive attitude, quick thinking, and a passion for streamlining processes and improving efficiency.

Nice to have:

Opportunity to learn basic software and hardware troubleshooting, how to flash software, etc.

Degree Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Technical degree preferred, but open to candidates from any background who are motivated to learn.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Base Pay Range (Annual)

$107,300—$147,510 USD
