Loam Bio is a leading biotechnology company at the intersection of soil science and agriculture, pioneering solutions that enhance soil carbon sequestration and help mitigate climate change. Loam Bio supports growers in their carbon projects, enabling farmers to capture and store carbon in agricultural soils, improving soil health and generating revenue through carbon credits. About the Role:

Location: Hybrid – Orange, NSW, Australia (Onsite 3+ days/week)

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of People, the People Enablement Manager will design and implement scalable training, development, and talent acquisition programs to support a global team. This role plays a pivotal part in fostering employee engagement and assisting the Australian leadership team with employee relations management.

The role ensures alignment with Fair Work Australia while implementing practices that promote employee engagement, health, safety, and a high-performance work culture. Combining strategic and administrative responsibilities, the role focuses on:

  • Talent acquisition
  • Training and development
  • Employee relations management

The ideal candidate will enhance the employee experience while optimising HR efficiency to support organizational growth.

Location: Hybrid – Orange, NSW, Australia (Onsite 3+ days/week)

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements People strategies to support organizational growth by fostering high performance, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Advises on business decisions aligned with legislative changes and compliance requirements.
  • Guides employee survey action plans to drive engagement and retention globally.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment across Australia, ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Ensures consistent application and integration of people policies, programs, and practices.
  • Reports on the effectiveness of enablement initiatives using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Supports performance reviews, goal setting, and compensation processes.
  • Provides compliant employee relations advice, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Leads HR training and development to drive upskilling, mobility, and retention.
  • Assists in developing policies, systems, and metrics to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws, updating policies as needed.
  • Manages onboarding, new-hire orientation, and exit processes, ensuring exceptional experiences and HRIS accuracy.
  • Supports AUS payroll processing, including updates, reimbursements, and compliance audits.
  • Note: Duties may evolve based on business needs.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner [Required]
  • 3+ years leading cross-functional training and development programs
  • 1+ years supporting or administering payroll in multi-region environments [Required]
  • Experience with Employment Hero and/or Rippling preferred
  • Certification in MBTI, DISC, and/or Brain-Based Coaching [Preferred]

  • Communicates complex information effectively to diverse audiences and cultures at all organizational levels.
  • Applies sound judgment based on data-driven insights and proactively seeks clarification when needed.
  • Demonstrates a high sense of achievement and attention to detail to ensure systems, policies, and processes are clear and effective.
  • Balances strategic thinking (understanding broader impacts and philosophies) with tactical execution (managing day-to-day responsibilities).
