Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working? The Client Solutions team are responsible for pre-sales activities at Kaluza. The team plays a key role in the sales process and spends a lot of time with prospective clients delivering product demos and deep dives, understanding their strategic direction and pain points and developing solution proposals.
You’ll be working across the whole of Kaluza's platform. This is a SaaS technology platform that aims to revolutionise the operating platforms for energy retailers globally and includes our Flexibility products. Designed to be the nervous system connecting energy retailers, grid operators, and consumers, Flex will aid us in creating the distributed, consumer-centric, dynamic energy system of the future.
What will I be doing? The Client Solutions team are responsible for pre-sales activities at Kaluza. The team plays a key role in the sales process and spends a lot of time with prospective clients delivering product demos and deep dives, understanding their strategic direction and pain points and developing solution proposals. The Head of Client Solutions role will play a key part in the delivery of our ambitious growth plans. As an experienced pre-sales leader, you will be responsible for leading the Client Solutions team, a talented group of solutions leads, consultants and engineers. You will also play a direct role in sales for Kaluza’s largest deals globally working with Kaluza teams around the world. Through building your relationships in Kaluza and your prior industry knowledge, you will develop a detailed understanding of Kaluza’s product suite, as well as alternative solutions available on the market. You will be able to bridge the gap between technology and its commercial impact, illustrating for potential clients the benefits that our unique platform can bring to them and coaching your team to deliver through this strategic lens. Your role will be part of our Extended Leadership Team across Kaluza, and will have the ability to influence our strategic direction and plans beyond your functional remit. Key Responsibilities Leading the Client Solutions team to drive development of deals in the Kaluza pipeline. This will involve strategic work prioritisation, effectively organising the team around opportunities and providing leadership and guidance to individuals working on specific deals. Play a key role in delivering Kaluza’s growth plan working directly on the largest deals, organising key client meetings, developing commercial proposals and overseeing tender responses. Develop a team of talented Solutions Leads, Consultants & Engineers providing coaching and feedback alongside their development plans to help the team expand their product and industry knowledge and hone their pre-sales skill. Work with Kaluza teams around the world to enable them to build their pre-sales capabilities through Kaluza’s pre-sales centre of excellence and to support them directly on the largest strategic deals. Continue to enhance Kaluza’s pre-sales capabilities, building out impactful product demos as well as solution design and proposal development playbooks and toolkits.
Is this the job for me? Ideally you’ll have/be Experience of playing a lead role in enterprise SaaS deals Experience working with energy billing solutions and related enterprise software solutions Deep experience and knowledge of the energy industry working in software sales, consulting or in a relevant client organisation Previous leadership experience of a high performing team Ability to communicate clearly and distil complex concepts into easy to understand points Experience in a role that demonstrates a customer centric focus Know when and how to measure success. You don’t just use data, you know when to use what sort of data and the questions you need to help you answer Equally comfortable working with leaders and team members alike Comfortable with the ambiguity that comes from working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing market needs The ability to see long and short term, thinking tactically and strategically
