What will I be doing? Triaging and prioritising support tickets based on impact and urgency, making full use of our service desk tool, JIRA. Supporting our Product teams by managing repeat workarounds, delivering fixes to our platform using a variety of different tooling (Postman, AWS, BigQuery) Pro-actively ensure that timely and appropriate updates are communicated back to customers. Where possible, taking swift action to stop an incident from escalating. Following documented processes and procedures and maintaining documentation/confluence pages. Serving on 24/7 call for one week at a time on a rota system. |
About You Ideally you’ll have/be Experience of working within the energy industry Able to work swiftly and efficiently under pressure A passion for fixing things, including a curiosity for digging into a problem to understand it and how to fix it. A background in customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills Capability to break down complex issues and identify improvement areas, with exceptional attention to detail. What will set you apart This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service or operations at an energy company, looking to transition into a more technical position. |
