The position

We are looking for a brilliant Finance intern to join our Finance team based in Berlin!

Your mission: You will play an important role in scaling our Finance team and in the optimization of Hive’s operating working capital by driving the financial onboarding of new customers, managing the cash collection process and performing analysis on internal revenue data to help other workstreams.

This opportunity will give you insights into all of Hive’s markets, service offerings and their financial characteristics.

Your profile

• Analytical Thinker: You have strong logical reasoning and analytical abilities, and you are comfortable in managing and interpreting data efficiently using spreadsheets like Google Sheets.
• Effective Communicator: You're outgoing, proactive, and confident engaging with colleagues across different teams and workstreams to collaborate and share insights.
• Database Savvy: You have experience or interest in working with databases, and even if you're not yet proficient in SQL, you're eager and capable of quickly learning database concepts and query management.
• Startup Mindset: You're genuinely interested in finance and understand the dynamic nature of a startup environment, willing to occasionally handle manual tasks and step outside your comfort zone to support the team's success.
