Role Description

Form Energy is hiring an Associate Manager to lead our Test Operations team in Massachusetts. This role reports into our Engineering department. As part of our team, you will ensure efficient test operations and resource allocation in collaboration with program management and partner teams. You will be responsible for running our battery test labs that are cycling thousands of cells safely and reliably, by being both hands on and managing a team of technicians. What you'll do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled test technicians and engineers
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and excellence
• Manage test resources efficiently, ensuring optimal tactical allocation and utilization
• Maintain a stable and organized work environment, effectively managing schedules and workloads
• Proactively engage with stakeholders across the organization, anticipating needs and preparing for changes in our fast-paced R&D environment

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years experience as an R&D operations manager or supervisor
• Experience managing direct reports
• Hands-on experience in a R&D lab or test environment
• Strong resource and project management skills
• Proven ability to promote a safety-first culture
• Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and proactive stakeholder engagement
