Enviva is looking for a Document Controller to join our team. As a Document Controller, you will have the opportunity to implement the future of document management at Enviva. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with strong attention to detail and an understanding of document control processes. You should have document control experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Construction documentation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all activities related to the Document Control process
• Maintain version control
• Coordinate with Capital Project teams to maintain consistent use of Document Control
• Input document data into the standard registers
• Ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed to the appropriate staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Manage document review comment logs and workflows, tracking open items from open through close
• Generate document control reports as required
• Implement tools and processes, systems, distribute documents, and ensure accuracy of all documentation policies, distribution procedures, and change management rules.
• Assist in internal/external audits and supplying documents as applicable
• Manage proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Information Management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, customer-service oriented approach in engaging with stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Two years related work experience in administrative tasks and document control processes
• Ability to keep clear and accurate records, manage a filing system, and issue reports
• Excellent time management skills
• General business experience
• Process oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work within a team setting
• High level of integrity and motivation

Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set Them Apart

• Knowledge of Engineering disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
• Experience/Proficiency with Smartsheet, Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint
• Technical writing experience
• Experience with Construction Document Control

Working Conditions

• Hybrid office work

• Minimal, as required.
