Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels.

Job Overview

Electric Hydrogen is searching for a Process Engineering Intern with a passion for tackling climate change. In this role, you will join a team responsible for the development and production of critical electrolyzer components, with the goal of enabling our production goals. This will involve working with the team to develop, verify, and implement new manufacturing processes, as well as continuously improve our current processes. As a small company, daily tasks can and will be varied; our work will be focused around our goal of enabling deep decarbonization!

For this effort, you'll have a mentor to provide the guidance you need to do great work. Your goal will be to achieve some work products that you can be proud of and that will materially help the team achieve success.

This position is based in Devens, MA. Timeline: Spring 2025 recruitment

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the team developing, verifying, and implementing new manufacturing processes for critical electrochemical components
• Everyday troubleshooting (help diagnose broken equipment and processes, document and define problems with hardware builds)
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a similar technical field
• Adaptable and flexible in an exciting fast paced environment
• Ability to clearly communicate your work and ideas in order to help drive decision making
• Highly motivated and solution-oriented

Preferred Experience:
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with electrochemical devices such as elecrolyzers, fuel cells, or batteries.
• Project experience that involved hands-on building

$28—$32 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​

Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:​
