What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Staff Solution Software Engineer at ChargePoint, you will design and implement comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for our next-generation SaaS charging platform, ensuring seamless integration with payment gateways, network operators, and charging station hardware. You will develop and execute automated testing frameworks for end-to-end validation, focusing on customer-centric solutions that meet industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will span solution architecture, cloud-based technologies, payment gateway integration, and security frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including customer-facing teams, product management, and engineering, to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that exceed customer expectations. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of ChargePoint's electric vehicle charging network.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• * Design and implement comprehensive, end-to-end solution architectures for ChargePoint's next-gen SaaS charging solutions.
• Design and implement payment gateway integrations (e.g., tokenization, payment processing).
• Ensure seamless integration with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), network operators, and charging station hardware.
• Ensure secure payment processing and compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with payment gateway providers to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., OCCP, OCPP 2.0, ISO 15118).
• Ensure solution compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Work closely with customer-facing teams and design solutions that meet customer expectations for reliability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with product management to define solution requirements.
• Develop and maintain expertise in next-gen SaaS frameworks (e.g., microservices, serverless).
• Ensure solution architecture aligns with ChargePoint's technology roadmap.
  Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable, secure solutions.

Requirements

• Years experience : 12-18yrs of Experience in validation, solution, product engineering
• Education Requirements : Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from reputed institution
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong programming skills (Python, Shell Script).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Certification in cloud platforms or related technologies.
