  • Strong understanding of electro-hydraulic flight control actuation systems.
  • Effective communication skills.

Preferred Education, Skills and Abilities

  • Tool automation using Python and/or Matlab.
  • Experience in Flight Control Laws development on a Part 25 program.
  • Experience with Certification Flight test environments.
  • Verification of handling qualities against Part 25 and/or MIL-STD-1797B.
  • In depth knowledge of modeling aircraft forces and moments along with their relationship to aircraft stability derivatives.
  • Experience with control theory of fixed wing aircraft in subsonic, transonic, and supersonic regimes.

Compensation

The Base Salary Range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees.
