For more than two decades, APX, Inc. (an Xpansiv company) has provided scheduling, settlement, and real-time data solutions to wholesale power market participants. APX is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the APX Product development team and help build and maintain the technical solutions and services used by our customers. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have strong analytical and technical skills, and possess a desire to work in the energy industry. What you’ll do:

· Become proficient with the internal and external tools and systems used to provide services to APX customers. Note, this includes work with SCADA (Supervisory Controle and Data Acquisition) systems.

· Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, identifying and resolving system issues promptly.

· Assist in analyzing and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

· Support the design, development, and implementation of system solutions to improve operational efficiency.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless operation of systems.

· Assist in preparing user manuals, training materials, and technical documentation.

· Participate in project meetings, contributing to project planning and status updates.

· Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the electrical power sector.

What you’ll bring:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical field, and/or several years of experience working as a systems analyst or in a similar technical role.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (or the demonstrated ability to learn).

· Highly detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and superior knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets.

· Capacity to quickly absorb commercial and technical concepts.

· Capability to work remotely/virtually across time zones with various groups and cultures.

Desired Qualifications:

· Documented experience working with SQL, REST APIs, SCADA systems

· Electric power industry experience
