Job Description
Wunder Mobility is the leading tech platform for vehicle sharing operators to grow, manage and scale their vehicle fleets. We enable our customers with the most customizable SaaS platform in the industry and provide a stable and reliable solution that is the backbone of their business.
As a Systems Scaling Engineer you drive the scaling of our high-volume B2B vehicle-sharing platform, impacting millions & accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. You will optimize our systems for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze and optimize database structures, queries, and indexing for peak performance
- Design and execute tests to assess system limits, identify bottlenecks, and recommend scaling strategies
- Implement monitoring solutions, establish alerts, and troubleshoot performance issues
- Profile code to identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on code-level improvements
- 3+ years of experience optimizing database-driven applications for performance and scalability
- Experience with cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Expertise in SQL, database design, and performance tuning with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Proficiency with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6, etc.)
- Experience implementing monitoring solutions (e.g., Sentry, Grafana) and establishing alerts
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP, Python, NodeJS)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis)
- Experience with distributed systems and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
