Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an ETRM Developer to join our growing Trailstone Technology Team; a small but international department that offers an immediate tangible impact on our business and global exposure from day one. This hire will be joining at an exciting time as our new ETRM landscape is currently being scoped and your input will be crucial for the success of the new platform.
This person will sit in our London office in the City (London Wall), working in a hybrid environment with 3-days per week on-site in the office. This will be a full-time role owning the following key responsibilities:
- Stakeholder management of Front Office to Back Office users; working closely to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
- Managing L3 Production Support issues and being able to shift priorities at short notice.
- Developing project plans, managing project scope, prioritizing requests and proactively resolving issues.
Additional responsibilities in time:
- Being the key contact for global based ETRM solutions, whether BAU or special projects.
- Leading, and becoming an SME for, solutions set out in the ETRM Road Map.
About You
This person will be a collaborative worker, confident with energy trading & risk management solutions, and able to successfully collaborate with front-to-back-office stakeholders. In addition, we are looking for somebody with the following:
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive application domain knowledge with OpenLink Endur.
- Knowledge of ETRM Front-to-Back business processes; including trade exchange integration, trade capture, trade valuation, confirmations, invoicing, and risk reporting.
- Scripting abilities – Lightweight JVS/Java Development for OpenLink Endur.
- Experienced with T-SQL (SQL Server or Oracle).
- Experienced with REST APIs.
Additional non-essential but desirable skills:
- Substantial working experience with Python.
- Experienced working in an agile techno-functional environment.
- Skilled in turning business requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of Financial and Physical North American Power and Gas Markets.
- Knowledge of US or EU Renewables Trading.
