We are tackling global plastic pollution - and you will be a part of the solution!
At traceless, we are not just addressing global plastic pollution; we are leading the charge to eradicate it. Our groundbreaking technology transforms agricultural by-products into a pioneering sustainable biomaterial—biobased, plastic-free, and fully compostable. This revolutionary material leaves no harmful traces on our planet. Now, we are looking for a visionary Project Engineer to accelerate our journey from pilot to prominence.
In your Compulsory Internship (f/m/x) in Product Development, you will help us further optimize and develop our traceless materials. With your assistance, you help us to make them applicable to a maximum array of applications to make the biggest possible contribution to solving global plastic pollution! This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience with developing, optimizing, and engineering natural polymer-based products and establish traceless as the market leader for compostable plastic substitute materials. You will

  • Actively support our Product Development team members
  • Be involved in important topics and get responsibility from day one
  • Develop your lab routine
  • Plan and execute experiments, collect and analyze data
  • Manage your own projects within the strategy of the group Where You’ll Make a Difference:

    You will spend your working days in an innovative work environment with start-up flair at the ISI Zentrum in Buchholz i.d.N or at the TUHH.

  • You are a student of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or another related field of study and have a passion for science and sustainability
  • You must complete a mandatory intership as part of your studies
  • You have a basic technical understanding of bio(polymer) structures, interactions, processing techniques, and polymer compounds
  • You have experience working in a lab, possess basic knowledge of characterization techniques for polymeric materials, and are not afraid of tricky challenges
  • You organize yourself and your work conscientiously
  • You are also practically minded and do not shy away from getting your hands dirty
  • You are proficient in both spoken and written English, other languages are a plus
  • You think innovatively, are open-minded, a team player and have a sense of humour Don’t meet every single requirement?
