Industrial Engineers at Tesla are responsible for optimizing manufacturing systems by means of value stream mapping, data driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Beyond this, Industrial Engineers are responsible for measuring and managing resource allocations to meet business objectives efficiently as possible.

Gigafactory Texas has an opportunity for a highly motivated Industrial Engineer. The ideal candidate will have technical competency in work measurement, linear programming, discrete event simulation and other operation research methods. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be proficient in bottleneck analysis, labor planning, material flow analysis, space planning, and program management.
