Job Description
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on the chemical analysis of battery raw materials. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge battery cells. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a chemistry lab and be skilled in various analytical techniques, including powder rheology, trace metal analysis, and method validation studies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is revolutionizing energy storage and accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Start Up Phase Shift: 9:00AM - 5:30PM
Week: Monday - Friday
Must be able to travel occasionally during initial cell expansion project startup phase, with option to become shift tied mid-2024.
Due to business needs in the future after Start Phase this position will move to Tesla's regular shift schedules; Steady State Phase: Alternating Work Schedule (A or B Shift)
Shift A: 6:00AM - 6:00PM
Week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
Shift B: 6:00AM - 6:00PM
Week: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
