Job Description
Company: Terviva India Private Limited
Job Title: Paralegal
Reports to: Associate General Counsel & Associate Counsel
Location: Mumbai, India
About us:
Terviva is a privately-funded Delaware company headquartered in Alameda, California with operating subsidiaries in India and Australia. Founded in 2010, Terviva is a food and ag innovation company partnering with communities and farmers to harvest and grow Pongamia, also known as Karanja. Pongamia is a climate-resilient tree which produces abundant, protein- and oil-rich legumes. It sequesters carbon and improves soil health and water quality while growing on land where other crops can’t grow. This helps to avoid deforestation and to revitalize agricultural lands and communities around the world. After more than a decade of innovation, Terviva has created an equitable and transparent supply chain in which we harvest and transform pongamia beans into biofuel feedstock and sustainable food ingredients called Ponova®.
