MCFR Project Manager
TerraPower is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) program. This position will report to the MCFR Project Management Discipline Manager. In this role the MCFR Assistant Project Manager will assist the MCFR Principal Project Manager with management of MCFR projects.
Responsibilities
• Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
• Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
• Analyzing data as required
• Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices and drawing estimates
• Tracking and reporting project progress
• Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
Key Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in either a technical role, a project management role, or a combination of both, where they were responsible for technical tasks alongside project management duties
• Experience with developing project budgets and schedules
• Clear communication, strategic thinking, and organization are key qualifications
• Ability to adapt-to and rapidly learn new software and processes
• Demonstrated affinity for understanding key objective and intent and then working with stakeholders and software tools to improve a process or system to make it more efficient.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field
• PMP, or AACE certificate is highly preferred.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA preferred
• Strong technical background, including engineering management, is highly desirable.
• The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.

Salary Range Level 9: $ 99,041 - $148,561
Salary Range Level 10: $113,605 - $170,408
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
