Job Description

Job Title: Brand Content Lead
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00)
Salary: up to £45,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits
Location: hybrid working from our London or Blackpool office
Direct Reports: 1x Content Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for a Brand Content Lead to help us continue to build the Tandem brand and grow our community. You’ll be joining a fun, passionate, collaborative, multi-skilled Marketing Team.

Our Team

The Marketing Team is at the heart of building a brand and community of people who want to live a greener lifestyle. The team is responsible for everything customer facing for Tandem. We ensure that the brand, products and services, are all positioned to drive curiosity, excitement, engagement, and adoption. Our aim is to engage with and, ultimately, help empower our community to live greener.

Your job will focus on:

  • Leading the execution of our brand content strategy – owning the content plan for Tandem, helping us stand out from the crowd
  • Working with our agency and freelancers, you’ll deliver exciting, standout, funny and provocative content
  • You’ll have great ideas on how we can push our brand into new spaces, adjusting the strategy and taking calculated risks
  • Writing copy for channels including social and website
  • You’ll have a passion and interest in brand marketing, with a view on what Tandem is doing well and where we need to improve
  • Supporting embedding our brand positioning into the wider company culture
  • Challenging your boss and speaking up when you disagree!
  • Managing our content exec, helping develop them into a future marketing star
  • You’ll have an understanding of marketing effectiveness and a love of creativity. You’ll know which brands are killing it and where we need to find inspiration

We’d love to hear from you if you have

  • Experience in social media, video and written content production, from both your professional and personal experience. You’ll be able to demonstrate the impact of your work, with measures of success
  • A passion for sustainability
  • A social media specialist, familiar with all platforms
  • Superb writing & proof-reading skills, with great attention to detail
  • Team player with a can-do, supportive and positive attitude

Transferable skills are more relevant than Financial Services experience. An understanding of marketing effectiveness and a love of creativity is key.

And some non-essentials:

  • Design skills (used to working with design tools like Canva or Adobe suite)
  • Knowledge of content management systems and automated marketing software; set up and content of social media channels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, with good time management
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and reports generation
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and deliverables
