Rivian’s In-Vehicle Infotainment is an immersive digital experience through which our consumers interact with their vehicles and stay connected with the outside world to enjoy hands-free entertainment, navigation, communications. As an infotainment product manager, you will be instrumental in creating these beautiful and intuitive in-vehicle experiences for our Rivian drivers and passengers. For this role, we are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to define automotive-first voice features so our users can perform everything from basic functions to complex & delightful AI driven features with simple prompts, all without having to take their eyes off the road. Further we seek a seasoned product manager who can run growth and proactive AI embedded applications for Infotainment platform. Responsibilities Act as the subject-matter expert for business processes and/or solutions Build strong working relationships with process stakeholder and develop thorough understanding of their processes and challenges Problem-solve across various technology systems and business processes to propose ideas, scope features, and implement solutions Create and groom a backlog of well-formed user stories for implementation by dev and design teams Communicate via both written documents and verbal presentations in an organized and clear way, including to executive leadership as needed Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies Maintain reports for work in progress and the status of delivering against the product roadmap working with SCRUM teams Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning Establish and guide stakeholders and functional partners through testing, implementation, and roll-out plans Design and maintain technical and project documentation Interact and lead design reviews with UI/UX designers and stakeholders Qualifications 10+ years of experience in product management across mobility, automotive or consumer technology verticals Customer-first approach with a relentless passion to improve the experiences through consumer research, user feedback, industry analysis Excellent communication and people skills; ability to articulate a product vision and influence leaders/partners to accomplish it Be highly capable of working with technical teams through periods of rapid growth and scale Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with smart assistants, AI technologies, audio systems, IOT devices Prior knowledge of data analytics capabilities to enhance their features, ensuring smarter, more intuitive user interactions. History of working through ambiguity and launching products in markets that go from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 1.x Comfort building platforms that integrate across multiple 3rd party providers and ecosystems Aptitude for working closely with the UX/UI design team to realize innovative and useful designs Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Candidates: 213,000 USD - 266,000 USD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
