Role Summary Program Manager is responsible for leading strategic programs to optimize the demand planning, forecasting, and analytics functions across the organization. These programs will ensure that we improve our analytics and demand forecasts to better align with business objectives, inventory levels, and supply chain capabilities to meet customer needs efficiently, as well as ensuring we gather requirements, design mockups, and advocate for system and tool implementation in the digital roadmap Program Manager works cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to drive accurate demand planning, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing large-scale planning initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities Program Management: Lead cross-functional planning and analytics programs, ensuring alignment between analytics, supply chain, inventory management, and production planning. Establish program timelines, set goals, and ensure that key milestones are met to improve analytics, forecasting and inventory management processes. Implement best practices for planning and analytics across the organization. Define and implement technology supply chain planning technology roadmap, including establish data governance and acting as data steward Lead implementation of Advance Planning System (APS) for Demand Planning scope (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, or similar). Demand Forecasting and Planning: Develop, manage, and improve the demand planning processes to ensure accurate forecasts that align with company goals. Utilize historical data, market trends, and customer input to create demand forecasts that support business objectives. Work with sales, marketing, and product teams to incorporate market intelligence into demand forecasts. Data Analytics and Reporting: Drive data-driven decision-making by developing and maintaining key metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify trends, and continuously refine models to improve forecast reliability. Analyze demand variability, supply chain capacity, and inventory levels to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Generate and present regular reports on demand trends, forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and other commercial analytics KPIs to senior leadership. Ensure adherence to data governance standards, maintaining data integrity and security across all analytics platforms. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with supply chain, sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure synchronization between demand forecasts and supply capabilities. Serve as a liaison between the commercial planning and analytics function and other departments to ensure alignment of business plans. Track tool/system needs for planning and analytics organization and liaise with Digital for prioritization; raise awareness when internal products launch/sunset Communicate planning and analytics process and technology changes to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency across the organization. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within planning and analytics workflows, implementing best practices for data management, reporting, and forecasting. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes, leveraging advanced forecasting models and tools. Lead initiatives to implement and optimize demand planning software and systems. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, forecasting tools, and techniques to enhance demand planning practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to analytics and project management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
