You’ll be working in the People Engagement team. We’re responsible for designing and delivering a proactive, progressive engagement strategy to help us become the leading place to work for people who want to change the world.
We help people to connect to and be inspired by our purpose, share in our values and become advocates of our mission to drive progress towards zero carbon living.
This role in a nutshell:
We’re looking for a real team player (who can be starting out in their career) to join our Engagement team to help us land our engagement strategy and deliver connection across our business. Although this role will report into one of our Senior Engagement Managers, you’ll span across the team and work on a variety of projects and content that will be targeted to one area of the business or OVO wide. Here in People Engagement, we encourage our people to connect at events across our hubs, so we’d also like you to play a part in that too and be willing to get involved and learn.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Managing all our new content requests in our system (which you’ll pick up in no time).
- Writing the majority of content for our key channels, including designing digital signage on Canva.
- Supporting with any ad hoc communications to go to our customer-facing teams, in partnership with our Knowledge team.
- Supporting the business with content campaigns such as Winter Readiness - helping our people support our customers when they need us the most.
- Raising all POs, keeping a PO Tracker up to date, and doing all new supplier setups.
- Adhoc design support.

We’ll pay you between £31,500 and £40,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.
You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
