Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing transactional finance activities with our third-party providers;
- Revenue and expense recognition;
- Managerial accounting to analyze company performance and cash usage ;
- Assisting the Finance & Operations Manager and Executive team with Board and Investor Presentations;
- Tracking of KPIs around operational performance;
- Internal Budget Reporting To Department Heads;
- Audit and Tax filings;
- Information gathering for grants and subsidies;
- Ensuring Novisto has reliable accounting policies and procedures as the company scales;
- Follow the policies and procedures
- Respect and follow the established security controls
- Report any risk, incident, or anomalous situation that could affect the security of Novisto or customer data
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree with relevant Accounting Coursework;
- 4-6 years experience at a Big 4 Accounting firm or Technology Company;
- Familiarity with accounting and payroll software (Wagepoint, Xero, Dext, Ramp, Deel, Float Card, etc.)
- Proficient with Google Sheets or Excel;
- A hardworking, ambitious individual interested in maximizing their personal development;
- Excellent verbal and communication skills (Bilingualism in French and English);
- CPA (an asset);
- Experience with SaaS business models and Venture Capital (an asset);
