Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Process Flow Simulation Engineer to join our passionate team in Västerås.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The Process Flow Simulation Engineer will support the equipment engineering, material flow and factory layout design by evaluating and challenging concepts through simulation. The role includes validating and improving material flow designs to ensure feasibility and efficiency of production and logistics systems as well as work models. Main tool is discrete event simulation using multidisciplinary input parameters.

Key responsibilities include:

· Plan and prioritize different simulation activities

· Gather and refine necessary input data

· Conceptualize and implement simulation models

· Perform simulation studies and validate the results

· Proactively propose and test improvement measures

· Document and present simulation results to stakeholders in a concise and confident way

· Contribute to a standardized and reusable simulation module library

· Support other industrial engineers to develop work model and standards
