Job Description
Requirements
- Work with customers and Maxwell internal teams to develop state of art products
- Be the owner of technical requirements for the product internally and externally
- Work closely with (customers') system and vehicle architects to understand and derive system requirements
- Develop and analyze system level and vehicle level use cases for the product
- Define functional requirements, technical requirements, robustness and reliability requirements for the product
- Derive system behavior of the product using the formal and informal notation
- Prepare logical architecture and technical architecture with component owners ensuring internal alignment among each component owners
- Define hardware-software interface requirements
- Conduct systems- failure modes and effects analysis (SFMEA) and design-failure modes and effects analysis (DFMEA) to ensure the development of a robust product
- Develop and/or follow Maxwell engineering process(inline with ASPICE, V-cycle, ISO) to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Reviewing and communicating requirements with external(customers, suppliers) and internal stakeholders(HW teams, SW teams, test teams)
- Interface with Battery system critical components suppliers to get key deliverables
Must-have-requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in electrical, electronic or similar engineering with 3-5 years of experience
- Good understanding of automotive architecture, electrical and electronic systems within automotive electric vehicles- EVs and HEVs
- know how on battery management systems,subsystems and battery control algorithms in EV application.
- Knowledge on safety standards,regulation and certification relevant to EV
- Hands on with any automotive function development
- Good understanding on communication interfaces like CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, Micro controller architectures,ASIC, DC-DC converters, Power electronics, electronic control units, relay drivers, solid state relays/ PDU, automotive ethernet, UDS diagnostics protocol, OBD, etc
- Team player and good at cross functional work abilities
- Capable of defining the process of handling the requirements with the help of project management and technical management as per ASPICE and ISO26262
- Hands on with DOORs or any other requirement management tools
- Hands on with EA or other system engineering design tools.
- Hands on with RCA analysis for system engineering related problem reports.
Nice-to-have-requirements:
- Awareness on ISO26262 functional safety implementation
- Awareness on ECU topologies
- Have worked on HV Battery management systems
