Our Global Fleet Management department oversees the life cycle of all company-managed vehicles/equipment or leased, owned, and rental vehicles/equipment. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Fleet Service Project Manager who will collaborate with several business stakeholders, matching use cases with mobility solutions and overseeing vehicle and driver compliance, accident and claim management, fuel services, vehicle registration, cost controls & reporting, and process improvements. This role will report to Lucid’s Senior Manager, Fleet Services, and work closely with Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Service, Delivery, Marketing, and other business units within Lucid and supplier relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the fleet complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensuring vehicle auditing practices are adhered to.
- Partners with and supports Fleet Managers in maintaining a reliable, safe fleet according to Lucid standards.
- Evaluate, monitor, analyze, and maintain Driver Qualifications – Medical Cards/Physicals, CDL and DL, Annual Driving Records (MVRs), Driver Training – DOT regulations, Hazmat training, and Driver Records – processing CDL employment applications, DOT required documents, company policies, CSA, MVR, background checks, and PEV drug & alcohol inquiries.
- Manage, monitor and maintain DOT Drug and Alcohol Database by ensuring testing is performed as required and pool is maintained correctly / Prepare and maintain records of all drug and alcohol tests (including random drug and alcohol screening), as required.
- Manage driver logs to ensure timely and accurate completion and compliance with Federal DOT regulations.
- Review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) daily and communicate with driver management to correct and validate the resolution.
- Maintain roadside inspections and citations including overweight, traffic violations, etc.
- Responsible for all Federal, State, and Local operational regulatory filings (e.g., MCS-150, IFTA, Hazmat, HUT). Prepare and maintain a detailed database referencing the permit or certificate’s title, purpose, cost, effective/expiration date, etc.
- Identify all driver's compliant and non-compliant issues and resolve them in a timely manner for both Non-Regulated Drivers, Non-CDL Drivers, and CDL Drivers.
- Maintain the Do-Not-Drive List and communicate to stakeholders updates regarding drivers impacted.
- Develop a driver and fleet scorecard to track overall safety and compliance performance.
- Responsible for registering, titling, and tagging Internal Fleet vehicles, including base state plates and IRP.
- Manages vehicle documentation, including tax and title information, registrations, etc.
- Manage the company fuel program by issuing and maintaining fleet cards and Driver Pins.
- Evaluate, monitor, analyze, and resolve potential fuel fraud alerts.
- Review, process, and manage all driver accident claims, ensuring claims are submitted with our insurance carrier and partnering with assigned adjusters and body shops to limit downtime of damaged assets. Support regional accident/incident reporting for the company-managed vehicles and equipment.
- Track metrics and vehicle spending by reviewing local teams' fleet metrics, fuel cards, and spending and alerting management to negative trends.
- Collaborate and maintain high levels of communication with all stakeholders.
- Identifies trends and recommends corrective action measures when needed.
- Participate in fleet-related conferences and maintain apprised of industry-related trends and developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders in a professional and constructive manner.
- Collaborate with peers to balance daily workloads and support the business.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to formulate effective action plans to deal with issues proactively.
- Flexible and able to work under pressure to balance competing priorities with strong organizational skills. Able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative work environment.

Skills / Experiences:
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing global fleets/supply chain consulting
- Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and ERP Management
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Manage strong communicational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations
- Demonstrated ability to leverage fleet systems and tools
- Understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle systems and technology, and compliance requirements
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
