Summery:

The Sr. Engineer, Arch. / Master Plan role focuses on overseeing design and engineering, ensuring quality, providing technical guidance, and excelling in creating presentations and reports on one of the company’s most sizable projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing subconsultants, ensuring compliance with Local and international standards, company policies and procedures.

Lucid is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join the team, bringing expertise in design, engineering, and proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. 10+ years of experience in design and engineering. Will be working closely with all members of the project team and will support the site team technically when required.

Duties:

• Lead design and engineering reviews, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to manage design development, construction documentation, and site implementation.
• Utilize BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360) to review models, extract data, and coordinate project information.
• Create visually compelling presentations and reports for stakeholders, showcasing project progress, design concepts, and technical details.
• Develop and deliver clear and concise reports on project status, issues, and recommendations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with architectural specifications.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, and other deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client and project teams, facilitating communication and addressing client concerns related to design and engineering.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on architectural details, materials, and construction methods, leveraging BIM software capabilities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in architectural design and construction methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar.
• Experience using BIM software for coordination, model review, and data extraction purposes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
• Strong presentation and report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in contract administration, site supervision, and quality assurance.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and participate in site meetings as required.

Profile Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design and engineering.
• Certification in Revit (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification processes.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
