Our Global Fleet Management department oversees the life cycle of over 500 company-managed vehicles/equipment or leased, owned, and rental vehicles/equipment. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Specialist who provides critical support to Lucid’s Global Fleet Management operations. This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Global Fleet vehicle and equipment. In addition, the Fleet Specialist has the following skills: process inventory management, vendor management, on and off-road equipment, and fleet management. As part of Lucid’s Global Fleet Management department, this role reports to the Sr. Program Fleet Manager, Service and Operations, and support in all day-to-day aspects of Services, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Internal Programs fleet, quality control, asset management, maintenance and all tasks related to vehicle allocation.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and support all assets' strategic vehicle allocation and operations plan, collaborating with other Global Fleet internal stakeholders.

· Assist with the life-cycle for vehicles/equipment, including the in-fleeting of new vehicles and the de-fleeting process.

· Oversee all in-fleeting activities, including timely new vehicle acceptance, PDI, tag installation, and other proprietary items that prepare the vehicle for field use.

· Manage all de-fleeting activities, including timely inspection, reconditioning, plate removal, and vehicle movement, to support the sellable inventory strategy.

· Monitor and audit work orders, defining the scope of preparing various vehicles and ensuring they meet Lucid’s quality standards.

· Plan, direct, and monitor preventive maintenance, body repair, software updates, and other work for all internal vehicles.

· Maintain an accurate inventory of all Internal Fleet throughout the various stages of its life-cycle.

· Oversee all vehicles, tracking allocation, preparation, assignment, usage, maintenance, and reporting.

· Liaison with the internal teams for all vehicle tracking allocation, preparation, usage, and maintenance.

· Coordinate vehicle maintenance and transportation with 3rd Party Vendors in key markets.

· Schedule and monitor external 3rd Party Vendors for fleet vehicle operations and storage.

· Oversee the maintenance, licensing, regulatory vehicle compliance, and vehicle health.

· Monitor and analyze vehicle allocation and usage.

· Execute periodic inventory audits.

· Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives.

· Responsible for tracking our fleet of vehicles and the maintenance schedules and ensuring proper maintenance is completed on time.

· Offer management and strategic support to the Fleet Operations Department and subsequent Internal Stakeholders.

· Act as a liaison with Internal Stakeholders to communicate with maintenance vendors, employees, and others regarding vehicle usage and needs

· Ensure accurate and complete vehicle maintenance records and logs

· Fleet maintenance activities such as work order approvals and preventive maintenance tracking.

· Drive tracking of fleet utilization, as well as improvement initiatives that improve utilization.

· Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives.

· Using discretion and independent judgment to make decisions within areas of responsibility

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree.

· Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders in a professional and constructive manner.

· Collaborate with peers to balance daily workloads and support the business.

· Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively formulate effective action plans to deal with issues.

· Flexible and able to work under pressure to balance competing priorities with strong organizational skills. Able to manage several tasks simultaneously.

· Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative work environment.

· Superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills

· Willingness to embrace change and all other assigned duties for the team's greater good.

· Produce/review various performance reports to drive results.

· Must have a Team/collaboration-based approach to decision-making.

· Strong attention to detail

Skills / Requirements:

· Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in fleet operations, business planning, or a similar role

· Experience working with a diverse fleet (e.g., EV, ICE, Class 8, Manufacturing Handing Equipment – Forklifts, tuggers, etc.)

· Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (Salesforce, SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and ERP Management

· Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

· Manage strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

· Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations.

· Demonstrated ability to leverage fleet systems and tools.

· Understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle systems and technology, and compliance requirements

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$82,000—$100,000 USD
