We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Student as an intern for our Engineering Hub in Munich, in the areas Interior, Exterior, Body Structures, Body Closures, Powertrain and Vehicle Testing. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination.

Your Role

• Work on all aspects of the design process, including design, analysis, prototyping, and validation of components and systems for Lucid vehicles.

• You can expect to contribute to a variety of projects depending on team requirements, challenging you to come up with creative solutions to affect rigorous

quality and cost-down targets.

• Collaborate with different technical departments within Lucid to ensure technical excellence and on time delivery of Vehicle Components and Systems.

• Steer cross functional teams to maximize the value for the whole organization.

• Design, describe and deploy quality processes, methods, tools and applications.

• Apply problem solving approaches to real world manufacturing problems.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners, external vendors, and suppliers.


What You’ll Bring

• Currently working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics.

• C1 level in English.

• Proficiency designing in a 3D CAD software (CATIA proficiency is a plus).

• Experience creating engineering drawings (GD&T experience is a plus).

• Proven interest in mechanical design engineering through extracurricular activities, academic projects, passion projects, or equivalent experiences (proven automotive or sustainability interest is a plus.

• Excellent grasp of engineering fundamentals.

• Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams while able to work independently.

• Must be detail-oriented and execution focused.

• Genuine curiosity and willingness to understand how our products are designed, built and how they operate.
