As the Geospatial Tech Operations intern in the SurfaceScout team, you will deliver quality projects by interpreting geospatial data to support AI remote sensing projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers, the Operations Support Studio and Software Engineers to deliver geospatial data results for various customers, as well as provide feedback and QA skills to ensure the successful implementation of innovative geospatial solutions.

• As the main operator of our Surface Scout product, you’ll be responsible for configuring, executing, troubleshooting, and tuning our pipeline.
• You will be in charge of delivering valuable results from our product to our customers.
• Working with our AWS-based infrastructure.
• Coordinating with different teams and subject matter experts for bug fixes.
• Provide feedback on how the team can improve processes.
• Coordinating project deliverables and deadlines with project managers.
• Proactive attitude and initiation for improvements are highly encouraged, willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to run Python scripts and find problems
• You are enrolled at least for a year in university (Bachelors/Masters) in the field of geosciences, geoinformatics, computer science, data science or alike
• High degree of self-management and process efficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of GIS software
• Open to full-time employment after the internship
• Ability to write and enhance documentation when this is lacking
• Valid work permit/Visa Nice to have:
• Machine learning / deep learning
• Software engineering advanced skills (SQL and Python)
• Ideally, experience with (AWS) Cloud Infrastructure
