Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist (f/m/x) to join our team of innovators. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking solutions that solve real-world problems. You will work alongside a team of experts who are committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible and driving innovation forward. Your Impact:

• Develop insights using a wide range of data sources, including IIoT sensor data and other railway domain datasets
• Develop solutions from understanding the challenge and customer needs to model implementation in production
• Deploy well-tested and maintainable models into a live system
• Build tools and infrastructure that contribute to a sensor data analysis ecosystem and contribute to the full software engineering lifecycle
• Drive innovation and help you and your colleagues improve and grow

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science.
• Fluent in Python and preferably proficient in one other programming language
• Proficiency in data frame-centric data manipulation tools such as pandas, SQL, PySpark, or Polars.
• Motivation to engage in both data science and software engineering tasks to deliver production-grade solutions.
• Experience in building, testing, and deploying statistical or ML models in a production environment
• Good understanding of software engineering clean code, best practices, testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with AWS or Databricks is a plus.
• Experience in leading project topics independently
• A collaborative mindset and motivation to guide and help other colleagues grow
