Job Description

As the Head of Human Resources at IONITY, your mission is to lead and inspire a dynamic HR team dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, reporting directly to our CFO. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement, optimize talent management, and cultivate an inclusive environment where every team member can thrive. Your vision and leadership will be instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent, ensuring IONITY remains at the forefront of the electric mobility revolution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with IONITY's business goals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the attraction of top-tier talent while implementing retention strategies that promote long-term employee satisfaction.
  • Employee Development: Design and oversee professional development programs, including training, mentorship, and career progression initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Implement effective performance management systems, setting clear goals and providing ongoing feedback to support employee growth.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a welcoming and supportive workplace for all.
  • HR Operations: Streamline HR processes and systems for efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Culture & Engagement: Promote a positive work environment through innovative employee engagement activities and communication strategies.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with industry standards and employee needs.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Team: Lead and inspire a dynamic HR team of currently 6 FTE.
  • Experience: Min. 8+ years of professional experience in operational and strategic HR work including significant international / European experience in HR, preferably within a start-up/ scale-up environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
    or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational success.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Language Skills: Business fluent German and English skills.
  • Innovation: Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
