Primary Job Functions

Network Design and Delivery

• Working with Engineering groups help design and document L2 / L3 networks for the Solar + Storage projects, leveraging supported design patterns defined by our standard network designs.
• Engage in overall cyber security roadmap and adhere to defined processes.
• Integrate and maintain network configuration system information models for related project networks to ensure consistent deployment automation.
• Perform any network modeling (latency / throughput) as needs arise or project requirements dictates.
• Maintain firewall rules and switch and configuration in adherence with documented standards.
• Work with field personnel to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and document deployment processes.

Customer Collaboration

• Partner with customers to ensure that the client network flawlessly integrates with the delivered system.
• Manage relevant customer required and project specific network and security documentation.

Organizational Collaboration

• Partner with internal field services team to diagnose and triage any project related networking issues.
• Partner with Engineering Architects and Product Management to identify potential roadmap or design pattern short comings and help implement fixes.

Job Dimensions (skills, knowledge & abilities)

• Full stack networking (Ethernet, cellular, various tunneling protocols, TCP/IP, UDP).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)
• Familiarity with git or other SCM tools
• Familiarity with AWS, Cisco, FortiGate
• Accuracy, Analysis, Attention to Details, Confidentiality, Decision-making, Delegation, Dependability, Diplomacy,
• Ethics, Judgment
• Office productivity software (intermediate skill level): Visio, Office 365, SharePoint, OneNote, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint software
• Proficiently communicate in writing and verbal in English, Planning/Organizing, Reliability, Time management

Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of NERC-CIP, ISO 27001, ISO 27019, and / or NIST SP 800-53 would be a plus.

Tools & Equipment

• General office equipment including phones and personal computer.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and at least one ERP system

Certificates/Licenses

• Relevant AWS, CISCO or Fortinet (preferred) certifications
• Certificates in various cyber security standards (NERC preferred)

The national pay range for this role is $115,000 - $145,000 / year and is considered a Level P3 – Career Professional Individual Contributor role. This pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in an annual discretionary bonus.
