Job Description

Experience Level: 6-9 years


Key Responsibilities:


Thermal Interface Material (TIM): Design, select, and optimize Thermal Interface Materials to ensure efficient heat transfer and thermal management within battery systems.

Aerogel: Develop and integrate aerogel-based solutions for superior thermal insulation and management in energy storage applications.

Mica Sheets: Utilize mica sheets for thermal and electrical insulation, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.

Thermal Management Systems: Design and implement comprehensive thermal management systems to maintain optimal operating temperatures and enhance system reliability.

Material Selection and Testing: Select appropriate thermal materials and conduct rigorous testing to validate performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.

Safety Standards Compliance: Ensure all thermal management solutions comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards, including UL, IEC, and ISO.

System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal components into the overall battery energy storage system, ensuring seamless operation and performance.

Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve thermal management issues to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating or thermal runaway.

Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of thermal designs, tests, and processes to support product development and certification.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in thermal management technologies and materials, implementing continuous improvements to enhance system performance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Strong understanding of Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) and their applications in thermal management.

Proficiency in developing and integrating aerogel solutions for thermal insulation.

Experience with the use of mica sheets for thermal and electrical insulation.

In-depth knowledge of thermal management systems and strategies for battery energy storage solutions.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for thermal management in energy storage systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proven track record of successful project management and delivery within the specified experience level.
