Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst Intern to join our Commercial Strategy & Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Analysis, Process Optimization and/or Consulting, and will be responsible for managing and optimizing our day-to-day revenue operations, including sales operations, reporting, and cross-functional strategic projects. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who can successfully manage various key work-streams simultaneously.

  1. Data Management and Analysis:
    • CRM management
    • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources (sales, marketing, customer service) to provide actionable insights.
    • Implement and maintain data hygiene practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
    • Conduct detailed analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  2. Process Optimization:
    • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in revenue-generating processes.
    • Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of revenue-related processes.
  3. Technology Integration:
    • Evaluate, select, and integrate technology solutions (CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools) to support revenue operations.
    • Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of tools and systems to enhance data flow and team efficiency.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve our tech stack.
  4. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Create and manage dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue growth and operational efficiency.
    • Provide regular performance updates and actionable insights to leadership and relevant teams.
    • Develop metrics and analytics to measure the success of revenue operations initiatives.
  5. Cross-Departmental Alignment:
    • Foster collaboration and communication between sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment with revenue strategy.
    • Support initiatives to improve team alignment and drive a unified approach to achieving revenue goals.
    • Assist in coordinating cross-functional projects and initiatives that impact revenue operations.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Hubspot), marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Organization:
  • Possess a naturally structured and organized working style, enabling effective identification of potential gaps in our database or processes.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Improved skills in representing data with a need to further develop the ability to draw conclusions and incorporate findings into decision-making processes.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Proactive and troubleshooting nature allows quick thinking and solution finding whenever problems arise or areas for improvement are identified.
  • Background in Business Intelligence and/or Consulting roles
  • Experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business analysis, or consulting.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills (spreadsheets, Tableau, etc)
  • Good understanding of the renewable energy sector and the B2B SaaS cleantech industry.
