Role

As Director of Operations, you oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our charging stations while ensuring exceptional customer support. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining station reliability and strengthening the connection between Fastned and its customers. By effectively managing customer feedback and inquiries, you will help create a seamless and highly dependable charging experience, aligning customer insights with station operations and maintenance. By fostering collaboration between teams, you will optimise station uptime and reliability, guaranteeing hassle-free charging for every driver.

You will manage several teams responsible for various operational duties, including field operations, customer support, and warehousing/logistics for spare parts. We are looking for a Director with a passion for hands-on execution, someone who thrives on diving into the operational details and working closely with field teams to ensure smooth execution.

This role is critical to Fastned’s rapid expansion. Over the next five years, you will scale your teams to support the growth from 350 to 1,000 charging stations across Europe while helping build the infrastructure and customer support framework needed to secure a leading position in the fast-growing EV charging market. By streamlining operations and improving customer satisfaction, you will enhance service reliability and contribute to Fastned’s growth as Europe’s leading fast-charging provider.
