Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.


Einride is searching for a Head of Transport Hardware (CET) who will be directly accountable for managing a team of specialists with a targeted sales territory. This position is responsible for developing, servicing, and maintaining new and existing accounts for the company's product line of new and used trailers, as well as other products within the trucking industry.


As the Head of Transport Hardware, you will oversee a group of specialists, ensuring accountability for various responsibilities. You will be responsible for the processes and structures within the team, ensuring seamless integration with broader business functions, particularly procurement, operations, and solution development. Additionally, you will create and maintain Einride's standard truck and trailer specifications while also setting customized specifications for special orders, including both trailers and bodies.


In collaboration with Procurement, you will identify potential suppliers and develop relationships with vendors for lead recognition. Together with the Product Manager, you will develop and review deployment initiatives, regularly updating these goals with sales management. By working closely with the Solution Development and Sales teams, you will translate our customers' transportation needs and requirements into actionable orders.


The position involves identifying and profiling target accounts, executing plans to develop them into customers or partners. You will review the Einride sales pipeline to forecast standard product needs for suppliers and research customer buying habits, specific needs, pricing criteria, and potential forecasts for non-standard requirements. Additionally, you will support the Operation and Deployment team with the delivery and startup of new products.


This role facilitates and promotes all facets of deployment, including the configuration of new and used tractors, trailers, and bodies for rigids. You will coordinate all items associated with the deployment process to ensure customer satisfaction.
